Well, when I was, say, 7? Sure. I had just gotten into nascar, just dipped my toe into the speed pool, you know? Anyway, my grandma, Audrey, had given me the #22 Caterpillar diecast you can see in my pictures. My grandpa, Eddie, had died earlier that year. She said he'd meant to give the car to me, but never got the chance. I decided to watch the sport it came from, and fell in love. My first diecast was a 1:64, and that is mostly what I have now. I use them as toys, not as collector's items, and have accumulated about half a backpack full of cars. I race go karts, and if you're in Aberdeen, watch out for the bright green #22 car! Most of my diecast cars are from the NASCAR Authentics line. For now, that's all I have to say. I will be likely to continue collecting as years go by.
