I began collecting in 1998. My first car was a 1:24 ARC Dale Earnhardt. I still have that car today it’s one that I’m very proud of, and regardless if it’s worth anything or not it’s one that I would never let go of. I kept collecting over the next several years built up a pretty big collection until about 2005. I started getting in the things that I never thought I would, and I almost completely ruined my life. I join the army in 2007, married my wonderful wife, and had my life straightened out. I didn’t start collecting again until 2011 when Kevin Harvick started running the black Budweiser car, I had to have it, and that was it I was back in headfirst collecting diecast again. I can’t buy as many as I did the first time I was a collector, being married of course, family comes first. But she let me get 3 to 5 every year depending, and it depends on if it’s a certain car that comes out that I just really really want or if a favorite driver wins an important race like Daytona, Darlington, or Indy. So as you can probably guess right now I’ve got the 24 scale Austin Dillon Daytona elite pre-ordered. I also have the Chase Elliott Daytona 125 qualifier 24 scale elite pre-ordered, and the Dale Jr Last ride raced version 24 scale elite pre-ordered. I’ve also got Chase Elliott hooters 24 scale elite liquid color limited to 36, I think, preordered. I cannot wait to get these cars, I already have spaces made out for some of them & display cases made for certain ones. I’m especially excited to get the Camaros. I used to have a 2010 Camaro and I’ve loved the body style ever since the new ones came out and always wanted the cup series to run them. I know that’s long and that’s probably more than I should’ve said, but that’s about it. I’ll be changing & shortening it a little bit when I get my preorders. Thanks for looking.
