I started collecting diecast in the late 90's with my older brother who was a diehard Dale Earnhardt fan. When he passed away in a motorcycle accident in 1999, I kept collecting and started following Dale Sr., and by extension Dale Jr. I didn't really get serious about diecast until late 2001, and my first "high-end" diecast was Dale Jr's 2001 MLB Daytona win. Since then, I have accumulated approximately 1500 1/24's and countless 1/64's. My collecting has slowed with Dale Jr's retirement although I still follow Kevin Harvick and Brad K, both of whom I have been following since they started in the sport.

I signed up for auto-delivery for several years when RCCA was part of QVC, was an "ultimate collector" in 2011 for 4 different drivers, and a member of the Lionel "Conductor's CLub" in 2013. I have obtained numerous prototypes and door numbers and have met many great collectors through events sponsored through RCCA/Lionel and also through online diecast forums.
