I began collecting diecast cars pretty much when I began watching NASCAR. My favorite driver is Kurt Busch, so having started watching in 2010, I started my collection with the 1:64 scale "youth" car. Since then, I have managed to get a hold of several of Kurt's best paint schemes, raced wins, and more. I don't have a massive budget for 1:24 diecast, especially as I make it a goal to get a 1:64 for each full-time driver in the Cup Series each season. That said, I still try to get as many 1:24 diecast as possible.

Here are my three favorites I've collected in 1:24 scale over the years:
T1. Kurt's 2018 Monster/Haas Bristol Night Race raced win. I was in the grandstands for that race, and it was the first time I had seen Kurt win race in-person.
T1. Kurt's 2018 Monster Energy car. I bought this one at the Merchandise Trailers in Bristol in 2018, as he was doing an autograph session at the trailer. I got this car signed when I bought it, making it a one-of-a-kind, very special diecast.
3. 2010 Kobalt Tools 500 raced win. This was the first NASCAR race I watched, at 6 (almost 7) years old. I chose to cheer for Kurt because at the part of the race I started watching he was the highest running blue car, so 7-year-old me picked the best car with my favorite color. Kurt went on to win the race and I've cheered for him ever since. I got this car in March of 2021.
